FM Falida Motor donates baby care products to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Sabah Women and Children’s Hospital (2025)

In January 2025, FM Falida Motor (FM) donated the remaining five units out of ten units of wheelchairs pledged to cancer patients of the Oncology Wards, Sabah Women and Children’s Hospital (Likas Hospital).
In response to a request, FM also donated baby care products to needy parents whose babies were warded with various health issues at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Likas Hospital.

FM Falida Motor (FM) recently donated the first batch of five units out of ten units of wheelchairs to patients of the Sabah Women and Children’s Hospital (Likas Hospital) in a simple ceremony held at the Oncology Ward in December 2024. The programme was also held in memory of the late Datin Kung Yut Siam.
 
FM’s director, Adam Nazri, handed over the wheelchairs to the five needy patients from rural areas who were identified with the assistance from Matron Hafsa and her team. The company will hand over the second batch of five units to other identified needy patients in January 2025.
 
Adam disclosed that FM has been contributing back to the society via various programmes as part of their CSR over the past 20 years. Their last was the food basket distribution programme in Pitas held during the month of Ramadan in March 2024

KOTA KINABALU: Falida Motor Sdn Bhd (FM) has successfully collaborated with Malay Vehicle Importers and Traders Association of Malaysia (PEKEMA) Sabah to organise a food basket distribution programme in Pitas.
 
Initiated under FM’s Yayasan Arwah Datuk Ibrahim Abdullah, the CSR was held in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan.
 
FM CEO, Syed Faiz said the programme was also held in memory of the late Datuk Ibrahim Abdullah, the founder of FM.
 
“A total of 260 food baskets were distributed to widows, single mothers, disabled and those with chronic illnesses that were identified with the assistance from the local NGOs.”
 
“This food basket programme is one of the company’s CSR initiatives to give back to the society as well as to provide assistance to the under-privileged, “said Syed.
